Good, they should say that. Because it’s 100% true. People who do not evacuate are imbeciles. They aren’t just making shit up. There is no such thing as being too cautious with storms like this. If you can’t stand the thought of evacuating, then don’t live somewhere like that!!

I mean if the storm tracked just right, a lot of people would die. Sure it’s maybe unlikely that the “perfect storm” could happen but there is no sense in taking chances. People buying all the milk and bread is silly but evacuating from a potential disaster zone is just the smart thing to do.

thats bullshit. The building standards here are far greater than the Caribbean island that got hit, and I believe they had survivors.
I had a friend from florida while in college. We were on the top floor of a dorm build and she said that at that moment, we were higher than any natural point in florida

I mean I don’t like to offend people, but living is more important than saving a job. But it really depends on the area. I am only talking about places that are mandatory evacuation zones that they know are going to flood and get messed up. I can’t imagine they just evacuate the whole state.
